Visit Inverness-shire. It is an amazing region to explore, for group tours and corporate events. To the east of the city passing Inverness Airport and heading towards Nairn. You are entering into serious golfing country with some fantastic golf courses awaiting you.
Fort George is worth a visit. An 18th Century fortified garrison and still a working army barracks, and home to the Highlanders’ regimental museum. This area (and the opposite shoreline of Rosemarkie & Fortrose) gives you a good vantage point to watch out for dolphins.
Inverness-shire also has some amazing corporate retreats for business events also. When you travel south down the A82, will take you down the length of Loch Ness and to Urquart Castle. Culloden Moor is a must visit. Furthermore, visiting Inverness-shire brings you many historic sites to visit.
The scene of the famous Battle of Culloden, which was an exceptionally bloody one on the 16th April 1746 the last battle to be fought on British soil. The National Trust for Scotland has a state-of-the-art visitor centre on site.
While to the west takes you to the Isle of Skye. Not to be missed, Eilean Donan Castle, a favourite photography stop for so many reasons. Also the islands of North & South Uist, Lewis & Harris, Barra are just of a few other islands that come under this region.
Visiting Inverness-shire gives lots of options as it covers a lot of area, but it is very diverse and has something for everyone. Near Span Bridge, the Commando Memorial is worth a visit with the Nevis Range providing a dramatic backdrop.
